USU Ivory Prize for Excellence in Community Engagement | Information
Utah State University is seeking nominations for the Ivory Prize, which honors exceptional student achievements in community engagement. The award includes a $10,000 grant for a partner community organization and a $2,000 scholarship for the student recipient. This is an incredible opportunity to fund a community project designed and led by a USU student in partnership with your organization.
USU Community Rakes & Shovels volunteer program | Information
The USU Community Rakes & Shovels volunteer program offers free snow shoveling to community members who apply for services, but our student volunteers have a hard time getting out to The Springs neighborhood (around 1200 W 1800 S). We invite your business to create a snow shoveling team that our residents could call for help when it snows. Only 1-2 team members would need to go at a time, spreading out the work load across the whole team.
Parent Connective – Spring 2026 Webinar Series | Zoom Link
The Parent Connective is offering a free Spring 2026 webinar series for parents, caregivers, and professionals, with sessions held on Jan 22, Feb 19, Mar 19, Apr 16, and May 21. The series features shame‑free parenting conversations, DBT‑based emotional support tools, and family‑strengthening strategies presented by CAPSA, the Sorenson Legacy Foundation Center for Clinical Excellence, and Juniper Haven. Most sessions take place Thursdays at 6:30 p.m. on Zoom, with one in‑person documentary screening at the Utah Theater.
Home Repair Grants Available (Up to $25,000) | Apply Contact
The Northern Utah Neighborhood Improvement Program (NUNIP) offers no-repayment home repair grants of up to $25,000 for eligible households in Cache and Box Elder Counties. Repairs may include roofs, siding, windows, electrical, plumbing, and more. Eligibility is based on household income limits set by HUD (generally low- to moderate-income households). USU Nonprofit Career Fair | Register
The College of Arts & Sciences at Utah State University is hosting an in‑person Nonprofit Career Fair on Thursday, March 19, from 11 AM to 2 PM at the TSC Lounge on the Logan campus. The event invites nonprofit and community organizations to connect with USU students seeking internships, volunteer roles, and entry‑level positions that support community impact. Participation is free and includes parking validation and lunch, offering organizations a chance to engage with a diverse, service‑minded student talent pool. RSVP by Friday, February 13.
Sacred Circle Resource Fair | Information
Join Sacred Circle for their annual Resource Fair on April 17. Agencies and community partners are invited to table at the event, connect with attendees, strengthen partnerships, and share available services and supports. Registration is required to reserve a table. Space is limited, and the registration cut‑off is February 27. To sign up, email Dean Frazier. Even if you are unable to table, you’re encouraged to stop by, support the community, meet providers, and build collaborative relationships.
JOIN UP CACHE VALLEY Community Connection Event | Individuals Registration Group Registration
JOIN UP CACHE VALLEY invites local clubs and organizations to meet the community and share opportunities for involvement. Groups hosting tables will be able to give a brief 60‑second pitch and connect with potential members. The event aims to help reduce isolation and strengthen community ties across Cache Valley. February 28, 11:00 a.m.–1:30 p.m., Bruner Hall, Presbyterian Church, 178 W Center St, Logan (Accessible entrance and elevator: park at church and near 100 W Center.). Register: Reply above with your organization name, representative name, phone, and email. Setup begins at 10:00 a.m.
2026 Utah Conference on Community Engagement | Register
Registration and the call for proposals are now open for this statewide conference focused on community impact, innovation, and collaboration. A great opportunity for Cache Valley nonprofits to connect with peers, researchers, and emerging leaders.
Read Across America | Volunteer
United Way Northern Utah is bringing the joy of reading into elementary classrooms across Weber, Ogden, and Logan school districts (specific schools coming soon). Volunteers spend a short visit reading aloud to students, helping spark excitement around literacy and making a meaningful impact in the community. March 2-6.
Cache Employment & Training Center – Business Networking Opportunity | Information
Sarah from CETC participates in a local BNI networking group that welcomes visitors interested in promoting events, sharing resources, or expanding community connections. The group includes a variety of business owners and offers a simple way to broaden your professional network. Meetings are held Wednesdays at 9:30 a.m. at First Colony Mortgage.

New BRAG Program: Benefit Navigator | Learn More
Bear River Association of Governments is offering a new free Benefit Navigator Program for families in Box Elder, Cache, and Rich Counties. The program helps parents increase income and long-term stability while navigating public benefits. Services include one-on-one case management, benefit-cliff guidance, job readiness and job search support, financial counseling, and local resource connections. Eligible families must have a child in the home, an adult able to work, meet income guidelines, and live in the region. Referrals welcome.

Community Health Worker - Core Skills Course | Register
The CHW Core Skills Training is an online program that helps CHWs develop a strong knowledge base through: Interpersonal and Relationship Building, Service Coordination and Navigation, Communication, Group Facilitation, Capacity Building, Outreach and Education, Individual and Community Assessment, Professional Skills and Conduct. Proof of completion of the Core Skills Training Program or equivalent is a requirement to obtain the Utah state certification. Link to the State Bill on CHW certification - SB104.
Webinar: Preparing for Audit of a Nonprofit | Register
United Way of Northern Utah’s Nonprofit Connection is facilitating an interactive training led by Sarah Manning, Controller for United Way Northern Utah. This webinar will walk you through how to prepare your organization for audit by an external agency. Sarah will outline what auditors look for, how to prepare a team and documentation, and what to expect throughout the process and aftermath. Cost: Free, Date/Time: Wednesday, March 25, 10-11:00 am. Location: Virtual through Microsoft Teams.
Family Resource Fair | Register
Save the date for our community event on April 10–11, 2026, at the Cache County Event Center. This free public event centralizes over 100 family resources in one location for a day of discovery and engagement. Nonprofits and government agencies may participate for free and are encouraged to provide interactive booth activities. Businesses are invited to support the event through sponsorships or donations. Attendees can also enjoy local food trucks, which will contribute to a community-voted fund for a participating nonprofit.

We are looking for organizations to have table presentations for our patrons to learn about what resources are available to them in our community. Bear River Nonprofit Miniconference | Register
United Way Northern Utah’s Nonprofit Connection will host the Bear River Nonprofit Miniconference on April 29, 2026—a focused, half-day event for nonprofit leaders, staff, board members and stakeholders Cache, Rich and Box Elder counties. The event includes networking, a moderated panel on Caring for the Caregivers, and concurrent breakout sessions in nonprofit leadership, fundraising, and volunteer management. Cost: Free, breakfast included. Date/Time: Wednesday, April 29, 8:30-11:45 am. Location: Cache County Fairgrounds & Event Center.
